Rigging Wire

If you're going to use the rigging wire method, I recommend using small brass tubing for the sleeve, and thread it as shown below. Finish by crimping the sleeve with electrical crimping pliers.

Use small landing gear straps to pass the rigging wire through and attach to the rudder & stab.

Use nylon landing gear straps to eliminate metal-to-metal radio noise problems. Also, use 2-56 screws and nuts through the surfaces - there's a hardwood dowel embedded in the surface.
